About these terms
These terms govern your use of adfilter.pro and AdFilter.pro, provided by Codexy Software SRL, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. By using AdFilter.pro you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use AdFilter.pro.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install and use AdFilter.pro on devices you own or control, in line with these terms. AdFilter.pro is licensed, not sold; we and our licensors keep all rights not expressly granted.
AdFilter.pro is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we will say so clearly before you are ever charged, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.
What you agree not to do
- Use AdFilter.pro for anything unlawful, or to harm, defraud or harass anyone.
- Copy, resell or redistribute it, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows this despite this restriction.
- Interfere with or overload our servers, update infrastructure or other users.
How AdFilter.pro changes your device
To filter traffic, AdFilter.pro creates a local network adapter (on Android, a local VPN) and may change your DNS and proxy settings while protection is on. In Advanced mode it installs a certificate that lets it read and modify supported web pages on your device. You can switch protection off or uninstall the app at any time, which restores your normal network settings.
Blocking can occasionally stop a website or app from working as intended. You are responsible for deciding when to use AdFilter.pro, and for complying with the terms of the sites and services you use with it.
Block lists
AdFilter.pro uses block lists maintained by third-party communities, each under its own licence. We don’t guarantee that every ad, tracker or malicious site will be blocked, or that nothing legitimate will be.
Updates
We may update AdFilter.pro to add features, fix problems or keep it secure. Software updates may install automatically. We may also change or discontinue features; where a change significantly reduces what you can do, we will try to give notice.
Third-party services
AdFilter.pro may link to or work with websites and services run by others. We are not responsible for their content or practices, which are governed by their own terms.
No warranty
AdFilter.pro is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or block every unwanted item.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Codexy Software SRL is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of AdFilter.pro. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for AdFilter.pro in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ending these terms
You can stop using AdFilter.pro at any time, for example by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova, and disputes go to the competent courts of Chișinău. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections of the country where you live and can bring claims in your local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. If a change is material we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use AdFilter.pro after a change takes effect means you accept it.
